Freedom on wheels
Being wheelchair-bound is one of the consequences of collagen connective tissue disease. Because there is still a way to go for medication, we want to make the consequences more livable with concrete changes. Freedom on Wheels and once not being restricted in the broadest sense of the word. Many have an opinion about someone with a wheelchair and what they do and don't (should) do. We want to highlight the possibilities, because no one would want to be pigeonholed. Are you also the venue where wheelchair accessibility is allowed to be normal in a broad sense? Are you the shopping centre, organisation or company that considers wheelchair accessibility quite normal? If so, we would like to meet with you and (re)communicate this by giving you our unique sticker. Once not a prohibition sticker but a recognition of the possibilities and open-mindedness you offer! An appointment on this page is also within the possibilities, if desired.
Everyone walks in their own way. So diverse is it with people who propel themselves in wheelchairs.
From trainers to boots, platform soles to stiletto heels. Each has its own skill and comfort. This diversity is equally true for people who "walk" by means of a wheelchair.
